We need a tablet with specs as below:-

2.  Memory : 512 mb.
3.  Nand flash : 8 or 16 or 32 gb.
4.  TF card slot with capacity to take uptil 32 gb.
5.  Capacititative multi touch screen of 10 inches of highest quality.
6.  G sensor.
7.  Wifi 802.11N.
8.  1.3 mp or preferably 3.2 mp camera. Dual cameras preferable.
9.  Built in micro phone and speakers.
10.  Usb ports.
11.  Provision to connect to external head phones / speakers / car speakers.
12.  OEM 3G inbuilt. (no Hua Wei).
13.  Assisted GPS, like Samsung Galaxy tab.
14.  High capacity battery to support 3 hours or more of operation.
15.  Android 2.2 OS.
16.  Bluetooth 2.0 or preferably 3.0.
17.  Mobile phone GSM chip taking capability is preferred.

Samsung Galaxy tab and Olive pad have been launched in India recently and they have all the above features which have become more or less standard and others would be judged from this.
