TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  These specifications describe the requirements for GI Pipes and Accessories. Tenderers are requested to submit with their offers the detailed specifications, drawings, catalogues, etc for the products they intend to supply
  Tenderers must indicate on the specifications sheets whether the GI Pipes and Accessories offered comply with each specified requirement.
  All the dimensions and capacities of the equipment to be supplied shall not be less than those required in these specifications. Deviations from the basic requirements, if any shall be explained in detail in writing with the offer, with supporting data such as calculation sheets, etc. The Geothermal Development Company reserves the right to reject the products, if such deviations shall be found critical to the use and operation of the products.

a)  Schedule: Standard
b)  Material: Mild steel or Ductile Iron.
c)  Construction: Seamless
d)  Nominal Pipe Wall thickness: 8.1788mm (0.322 Inches)
e)  Nominal Bore: 200mm (8 Inches)
f)  Outside Diameter: 219.1 (8.625 Inches) for mild steel or 222mm for Ductile Iron
g)  Length of pipe: 6m

  FLEXLOCK COUPLINGS

The FlexLock couplings should conform to AWWA/ANSI C.219 Standards for bolted couplings. The coupling should be made to fit on 8 GI pipes.
  Center Sleeve/End Rings: should be SG. Iron to BS EN 1563 or Rolled Steel to BS EN 10025:2004: Grade S275
  Coupling Body: Ductile Iron to BS EN 1563 EN GJS 450 10. Or Mild Steel to BS EN 10025:2004 Grade S275

  Bolts: Cold Forged Steel Fasteners to: BS EN ISO898 1:2001 Grade 8.8. There should be a total of 8 bolts in each coupling (size of bolt:M12 x
