Subject: Enquiry for purchase of cement

We, Ahmed Mansoor Al-Aali are the leading Construction group in business for last 50 years.  Presently in line with our business requirement we intend to purchase two types of cement with the following specification:

A. SPECIFICATION for CEMENT

Type A
SULPHATE-RESISTING PORTLAND CEMENT AS PER BRITISH STANDARD   SPECIFICATION: BS 4027: 1980

1.        Quantity required: 10,400 Metric tons per month. Supply lots can be once in two weeks.

2.         Packaging and identification: 2 Metric tons per bag, bottom opening (spouts), ease of unloading into silos. Bags must be airtight and must be waterproof to avoid moisture absorption during sea transport and storage. Packaging information must contain shelf life with production date.

Type B
ORDINARY PORTLAND CEMENT AS PER BRITISH STANDARD   SPECIFICATION: BS 12: 1989
1.        Quantity required: 2,600 Metric tons per month. Supply lots can be once in two weeks.

2.         Packaging and identification: 2 Metric tons per bag, bottom opening (spouts), ease of unloading into silos. Bags must be airtight and must be waterproof to avoid moisture absorption during sea transport and storage. Packaging information must contain shelf life with production date.

B.  GENERAL PURCHASING TERMS:

1.  Price to be quoted: FOB (West Coast Port) Incoterms 2000 and CFR (Incoterms 2000)

2.  Currency : Prices in US$

3.  Price validity : Valid for 60 days from the date of quotation

4.  Delivery schedule Commencing 1st March, 2009 on a Monthly or biweekly basis.

5. Receiving port: Mina Salman Port, Kingdom of Bahrain
