We manufacture a range of systems and equipments for the UK prison market, one item of which is a electrically powered top hung sliding door.

We are in the process of a design review of this system with the aim of reducing its cost and physical footprint.

As part of this review we are seeking to source rollers, preferably plastic coated, to be used in the overhead suspension system and a mating track for the rollers to run on.

The rollers should have a concave or convex form at the crest ( to suit the track), employ sealed for life bearings and be suitable for a load of around 75 Kg per roller.

We would hope to get a life from the roller in the order of 1000 divided by the circumference of the roller (mm) x 6,000,000 revolutions at a static load of 75 Kg per roller.
